Approach
Our family-centered approach focuses on listening as the foundation for developing spoken language. For hearing-impaired children this means using hearing aids or cochlear implants. Our Centre was established by parents; parents and their children are still our number one priority. We ensure that parents or caregivers can develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to work with their children in developing spoken language, managing hearing devices and advocating for their child's needs. Our therapists have a diverse range of specialist skills and are able to confidently work with all families at every stage of a child's development to ensure we achieve the very best outcomes possible.
Aim
The aim of our programs is for each child to reach their individual potential by learning to speak. Children who can speak have greater choices in schooling, occupation and lifestyle.
