Telethon Speech & Hearing's Alumni brings together former students of the Centre. If you are interested in joining the Alumni, or finding out more information, please email alumni@tsh.org.au. The Alumni is open to all former students of the Centre and there is no annual membership fee.
Adults - Better Hearing Australia (WA)
Better Hearing Australia (WA) is a non government organisation which aims to improve the lives of adults with hearing loss, as well as their families, friends and employers throughout the State. Better Hearing is affiliated with Telethon Speech & Hearing and can be found at the main TSH campus in Wembley.
Better Hearing assists people with almost every kind of hearing loss, from people who have lost their hearing due to ageing, right through to people with cochlear implants. Our services for those with hearing loss include:
- Hearing Rehabilitation classes, which mainly focus on lip-reading;
- advice about adaptive technology for telephones, television and alarms, and
- provision of the Hearing Help card and Hospital Disc programs.
