Teleschool

The Therapy and Education Teleschool (TET) program, accessed via teleconferencing, is for families living in regional and remote communities. It provides children from these locales with access to world class Auditory-Verbal Therapy by a trained and experienced AV Therapist via videoconferencing.

Weekly videoconferencing sessions are conducted by the Centre’s Certified AV Therapist.  In addition, supporting material such as notes and education kits with appropriate aids (toys, games, books) are sent to families on a rotating basis.  These additional materials are used in the sessions, as well as during the week by the parent. 

If the need arises, educational sessions with extended family and the community (ie: the child’s teacher) can be organised by the therapist.
