Are you constantly asking others to speak up or repeat themselves?
Do you have trouble hearing on the phone?
Do you have the volume on the TV too loud?
Do you have trouble hearing in social situations?
Do you have trouble hearing background noise?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then a hearing check is recommended.
Hearing Awareness Week (HAW) will be on 20-26 August and Telethon Speech & Hearing is offering free hearing checks for adults at various locations around Perth during this week.
Hearing loss affects 1 in 6 Australians. It is predicted that this statistic will increase to 1 in 4 Australians by 2050.
Hearing Awareness Week is a great opportunity for you (or someone you know!) to get your hearing seen by one of our qualified Audiologists and maintain good ear health.
We’ll also be holding free presentation on hearing loss for the public. Come learn more about hearing loss and steps you can take to have better hearing.
