Earlier this year, TSH commenced its newest partnership with Mazenod College, to provide in-school support for students with hearing loss.
Based in Lesmurdie, Mazenod College is the tenth school within Western Australia to take on our incredibly unique and inclusive school support (Outpost) program, since the first unit at Servite College in 1979.
Mazenod specialises in boys’ secondary education (Years 7 to 12) and is set in 21 acres of grounds in the bushland on the Darling Scarp. The Mazenod learning experience is provided in the Oblate tradition. Saxon Miller is the first Outpost student to attend Mazenod College and parents Rob and Gabby have been impressed with progress so far.
“We are so happy to have chosen Mazenod for Saxon,” they said.
“He has settled into Year 7extremely well. TSH and Mazenod together, have made the transition easy for our son.”
Our well-versed Outpost team at Mazenod includes Josie Sullivan (teacher of the deaf) and Liz Buscombe (notetaker).
