Early intervention is important as it provides parents and families with the knowledge, skills and support to meet the needs of their child.

Telethon Speech & Hearing provides early intervention for the management of your child’s hearing loss using a multi-disciplinary approach. This approach allows us to identify any delays in developmental milestones and individualise our services in regards to any aspects of your child’s development including speech, language, listening, motor skill milestones, cognition, attachment and emotional regulation.

All children and their families in early intervention are encouraged to attend a therapy group each week during school terms, with similar aged peers. These groups are facilitated by members of the early intervention multi-disciplinary team.
