We teach children with speech and language or hearing impairments to listen and speak.
Getting in touch with TSH
Hearing Impairment
Programs on offer for hearing impaired children from infancy through to school age. Children and their families work with a team of specialists in many settings including individual and group sessions, counselling and diagnostic testing.
Speech & Language
The Talkabout program is designed for children who have a speech and language delay or disorder. Programs are offered for children aged 18 months to five years.
Audiology & Ear Health
Audiological services are offered to children attending the Centre's programs as well as those who do not. Services include: newborn hearing screening, child hearing testing and audiological management and a cochlear implant program. A mobile hearing and ear clinic is offered for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
