Teach Speak Hear and Ear Foundation Australia Partner to Give Mid West Children a Good Strong Start
Teach Speak Hear and Ear Foundation Australia are proud to partner together and deliver the Buranymarda Marugundi Program, a new three-year initiative providing integrated ear health, hearing, speech, language and occupational therapy services in the Mid West region of Western Australia.
Meaning Good Strong Tomorrow in Badimaya language, the program will support Aboriginal and at-risk children through accessible, cost-free services delivered closer to home. Through the combined strengths of both organisations, this partnership will help improve hearing, communication, learning and developmental outcomes while strengthening local capacity and community partnerships.
Together, both organisations share a commitment to ensuring children in the Mid West have the support they need to thrive and reach their full potential.
The Buranymarda Marugundi Program will be officially launched at Rangeway Primary School in Geraldton on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.
The community event will feature a cultural performance celebrating local culture, presentations from project partners, opportunities to meet stakeholders and the announcement of the winning designs from a children’s art competition.
The winning artwork will be displayed on the program’s mobile clinic bus, which will travel throughout the Mid West delivering services directly to communities.
