This October, we’re inviting Western Australians to get loud for a cause that matters.

Loud Shirt Day is TSH’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing together schools, workplaces, community groups, families and friends to support children with hearing loss across WA.

From now until 16 October 2026, every dollar donated, every fundraising event held and every loud shirt worn helps create brighter futures for children and young people.

What is Loud Shirt Day?

Loud Shirt Day is all about turning up the volume for children living with hearing loss.

By wearing your loudest, brightest or most colourful shirt and getting involved in fundraising activities, you’ll be helping raise awareness of hearing loss and the importance of early intervention, while also funding life changing hearing and speech services.

Whether you’re hosting a morning tea, organising a dress-up day, holding a raffle or simply making a donation, every contribution helps ensure children receive the support they need to thrive.

Why Your Support Matters

Hearing plays a vital role in a child’s development, helping them learn language, communicate, build relationships and participate fully in everyday life.

For children with hearing loss, access to early intervention services can make a profound difference. Funds raised through Loud Shirt Day help TSH deliver critical hearing and speech services that support children and young people from infancy through to 18 years of age.

With community support, we can continue providing expert care, personalised programs and life-changing opportunities for children and families across Western Australia.

How to Get Involved

Getting involved in Loud Shirt Day is easy:

  • Sign Up for Loud Shirt Day and start fundraising.
  • Host a fundraising event at your school, workplace or community group.
  • Encourage friends, family and colleagues to donate.
  • Wear your loudest shirt on Friday, 16 October.
  • Share your Loud Shirt Day photos and fundraising efforts on social media.

No matter how big or small your contribution, every dollar raised helps WA children with hearing loss access the support they need.

Join the Loud Shirt Day Community

Each year, thousands of Western Australians come together to celebrate Loud Shirt Day. From colourful classrooms and decorated offices to community events and family fundraisers, the campaign is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when people unite behind a shared purpose.

Together, we can raise awareness, fund vital services and help children with hearing loss develop the skills and confidence they need to listen, learn and thrive.
