What is the NDIS?

Yes. TSH Wembley and Cockburn are NDIS registered sites, we can provide speech pathology, occupational therapy and audiology services to families who have NDIA managed plans there. 

Depending on your child’s NDIS plan goals, you can use your child’s NDIS plan budget towards part or all of the following TSH programs:

• Chatterbox – early childhood hearing loss program
• Outpost – school age hearing loss program (therapy components of the program only)
• Talkabout – language and communication program (therapy components of the program only)
• Speech therapy
• Occupational therapy
• Audiology

To become an NDIS participant, you will need to provide evidence of your child’s eligibility.

If your child is:

• Under 9 years of age with a diagnosed hearing loss – Contact Hearing Australia for support with the NDIS application.
• Under 9 years of age – Contact Wanslea Early Childhood Early Intervention team via email ndis@wanslea.asn.au or phone 1300 969 645 and ask for an Access Request Form.
• Over 9 years of age – Contact the NDIA directly via their website or call 1800 800 110.
